Description

For our group project we decided to do am edible cookie dough stall.we all enjoy cooking and baking do it made sense to choose a stall based on this area. To be able to accomplish our stall we were all given different areas of the project so that everything would get done. The area of the project given to me was the resources we would require to actually make the edible cookie dough. This meant working out how much it would cost for ingredients, where would be the best place to buy ingredients and getting ingredient donations to lower our costs. With everyone in the grouo working on one area of the project, we were able to get everything done and didn't have to worry about last minute changes or activities meaning we could focusv9n the actual stall.

Feelings

Throughout the project planning there was a lot of stress surrounding the ingredients that we needed. As I had contacted multiple stall for donations, it took a long time to find out what we would need to buy and what was being donated. This was due to some stores responding quickly and some taking multiple weeks to get back to us. However, it was very enjoyable working in the group as we all helped each other when we needed it.

Evaluation

One thing that went well and was good about the project was that everyone had their own area of the project meaning all the work could get done more efficiently as there was one area to focus on rather than multiple. Moreover, our team leader was there to help whenever we needed it meaning that if you were struggling, there was someone there to help out.

Analysis

I think the reason iur division of the workload went well was because everyone had a say in which area of the project they would be working on. This meant eveyone had an area they wanted and that they were able to complete correctly and efficiently. However, because we were all working on different areas, we all had different timelines making it harder for us to colaborate on the things we needed to.

Conclusion

One thing i learnt is that dividing the workload is a good idea but that timelines for certain parts if the project are required so that everyone stays in task and so that it is easier for different areas to work together.

Action plan

If I was to do this project again I would talk more with my team as a way to make it easier for us to collaborate with each other. Also so that they know where I am with my area and what is happening. I would also insist that their is a set timeline for each task meaning that when one member of the team needs certain info, it is ready and available for them. Furthermore, I would ask that we have an area of the project we are capable of completing but that still challenges us as a way to help develop our knowledge and skills rather than doing an area that we know we can do and do not need to work as hard on
